The Charger Bulletin

Delta Phi Epsilon will be conducting a fundraiser for Anorexia Nervosa & Associated Disorders, also known as ANAD, during the week of Mar. 22-26 . During Healthy Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness Week, students wearing purple ribbons will be representing their support for the organization. Be on the lookout for support for ANAD!

Monday Mar. 2:2: In the Upper Student Lounge at 7:30 guestsSpeaker Lisa Kimmel, a registered Dietitian at Yale who works with student athletes and students suffering from eating disorders, will be giving a presentation on the pressures of looking a certain way as an athlete and how to help a friend who is suffering from an eating disorder.

Tuesday March 23: Documentary Film THIN will be playing in (Kaplan 107 at 9pm.) THIN is about a rehab center with women suffering from different types of eating disorders
Wednesday Mar. 24: Work out like a Deepher! Want to have a fun and different work out routine? Join the Deephers as we teach a fun work out. German Club 8pm

Friday Mar. 26: Bon Fire with Fire Science Club in the (Bixler/Botwinik Quad 8pm.) This is our last night to remember anyone who has lost his or her life or is struggling now with an eating disorder. We are promoting positive body image by writing down one thing you don’t like about yourself and then burning that physical trait in the fire in order to forget about it.
