Texas Stadium, home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys for 38 seasons, came crashing down last Sunday morning when over one ton of dynamite demolished the now defunct-stadium. The stadium, which was famous for the hole in its roof so “God could watch His favorite team play,” was host to the team for all five Super Bowl title seasons.

The implosion took less than a minute and all that was left standing after the fact were three giant trusses. Thousands came out to say one last goodbye to the stadium, and millions more watched a live broadcast on ESPN, emceed by Chris Berman. 11-year-old Casey Rogers of Terrell, Texas got the honor of pushing the button after winning an essay contest sponsored by Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.
