SCOPE It Out!

SCOPE had a week full of some big events and one of the most popular movies so far! Student should definitely prepare for another SCOPE-filled week coming up. This week is the annual Rock N’ Roll Week!

Monday, Sept. 24, SCOPE will have a Karaoke Night from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Bartels Programming Space. Everyone is invited to come and rock out to any song of their choice.

Tuesday, Sept. 25, SCOPE will have “What’s The Lyric?” Game Show in the Bartels Programming Space from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you think that you know the lyrics to a lot of songs, then come out and compete for some prizes!

Tuesday, Sept. 25, SCOPE will be showing the film Rock of Ages, based off of the Broadway hit musical. Come see some of everyone’s favorite stars rock out to this new film hit.

Wednesday, Sept. 26, SCOPE is hosting a talent show, UNH Idol. Anyone can come and compete in front of our very own judges! UNH Idol will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Bartels Programming Space. Prizes will be awarded to the top acts.

Thursday, Sept. 27, SCOPE is having an 80s Dance Party from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the German Club. Everyone should come and jam out in their 80s-themed gear to some of the classic hits from this decade.

Friday, Sept. 28, SCOPE will be having another showing of Rock of Ages based off the Broadway hit musical. Fresh popcorn will be provided to any movie attendees.

Friday, Sept. 28, SCOPE will also be making tie-dye T-shirts in the Bixler/Botwinik Quad from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Some T-shirts will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring any white shirts they may have too. This event is while supplies last.

Saturday, Sept. 29, SCOPE will be holding the annual Rock N’ Roll Week Concert in the Bixler/Botwinik Quad from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s performing band is South Paw. This cover band features music from ACDC, Lynard Skynard, Kid Rock and many more. Come out and enjoy this free concert with your friends.

SCOPE hopes to see everyone there and remember to bring your friends!
